Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

If you love numbing, this is the place for you. The chili pepper fish and dry noodles are great, we also love the green beans.

My family and I used to be regulars here for 20 years. Last 3 years, their consistency and quality has fallen significantly. These days, the food is good only about 1 out of 7 days of the week. Not sure if they had a change in chef or kitchenn staff but not what they used to be. Do hope they change for the better as it was a staple for most of my life.

This is the only Sichuan restaurant that makes proper twice cooked pork. The pork is cut thiny like bacon, but is unlike anything else out there that claims to be twice cooked pork.

A pleasant setting with mint green furniture, clean tablecloth on tables, quiet relaxing atmosphere for a lunch with family. Staff greeted and accommodated us with mother in wheelchair to a booth. Tastey and not too spicy dishes were shared by family. For a neighborhood restaurant, it was more upscale than expected but 4 of us ate for $100. This was a whim choice from the family regular Chinese food go to, Good Neighbor close by. We agreed it worth returning to.

Literally do not listen to anything on here that's less than 3 stars. This place is more than worth it in terms of flavor of dishes and serving sizes. The boys and I ordered the roasted fish, tea smoked duck, crispy beef with chilis, and chicken in chili oil (cold) with a few beers each. Honestly, there was enough food for probably another three people. We did request that the whole roasted fish was extra spicy which meant that it was at the level that we enjoyed. If you are looking to explore the flavor profiles of Sichuan, I would highly highly recommend this place.
